INF60020: Technology and Innovation Immersion

My fourth unit, INF60020 - Technology and Innovation Immersion, explored how technology and innovation can be used to solve complex business and societal challenges, while keeping people at the centre of change.
The unit challenged me to think differently about innovation, moving beyond technology for technology's sake and focusing instead on practical, human-centred solutions that create meaningful value. Through individual and team-based projects, I explored digital disruption, responsible innovation, emerging technologies and the challenges of turning innovative ideas into solutions that can work in the real world.
A major highlight was working with my team to develop modUhome, a proposed housing ecosystem designed in response to Australia's housing challenges and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The project brought together systems thinking, technology, collaboration and human-centred design, culminating in a proposal for a 100-home pilot that could be tested, measured and adapted before wider implementation.
